The Bow-Gun Reel

The Bow-Gun Reel is a retractable reel that automatically winds up its rope as you pull up your bow, gun, or other
equipment to your tree stand or other high work area. It is designed to help hunters keep their rope tangle free and
out of their way as they lift their equipment. I received one for a Field Review and have been testing it out this season as I used a few different model tree stands.
 Safety in getting in and out of a tree stand is SO important. It can not be stressed
enough. To often hunters will attemp to climb into a stand and carry their gear with them on tyhe way up., leaving them not only off balanced, but open to the potentiakl
of gear shifting and knock them off balance, which could result in serious injusry or death.
R&D LLC, Hunting Product have designed the Bow-Gun Reel to help overcome this potential porblem. I have always carried a small piece of rope or cord to get my gear
off the ground, but found this item very useful instead of having to mess with tangled cords or digging out a rope.
The only draw back I found was weight. It is a little more heavy that a piece of cord, a little more expensive (but I think worh it), and a great idea for those that don't have to
pack their stand in and out each trip as well. If weight is an issue, as it often is for me in the Rocky Mountain region where we most likely have to pack out what we
pack in each day, I find myself opting for the braided cord option.
If you hunt from a regular tree stand, this is the stuff!
The sturdy steel and aluminum construction and the gear driven retraction mechanism are built to give years of
trouble free service. The Bow-Gun Reel comes equipped with various lengths of diamond braid polyester rope, a belt clip, and an equipment clip.
