Huge 36 Point Buck Harvested in Adams County Ohio

Known as "the Amish Lucky Buck" This whitetail buck was harvested opening day of Ohio's archery season with a crossbow by John Schmucker. This southern Ohio huge buck has gross green score of 304 and net is in the low 290's. His official score on the Buckmaster scoring system is 280 1/8". The Amish Lucky Buck, originally thought to have only 33 points, truly has 36 scorable points and an inside spread of about 25".

The buck is known as the Amish Lucky Buck because the hunter is Amish which is also the reason he does not appear in any of the pictures. Also 5 other members of the community were feeding Lucky Buck Mineral last fall and this summer. John states that on the mineral the buck got much more impressive than the previous years.
